Hi everyone! My name is Jeannique, owner of Empower Kidz Drop-In! I’m better known in the community as Dr. J, founder of Empower Family Chiropractic.

My drive to open Empower Kidz is rooted in my personal experience as a Chiro Mom with two small children. As a household with two working parents and the absence of other family members in town, the flexibility of having playcare we can trust on a whim, or even scheduled and predictable playcare, but only for a short period of time, hasn't been an option for us.

My transition into motherhood has escalated my awareness of the desperate need for more playcare options than are currently offered in our Lake Travis community for both working parents and stay-at-home parents. This didn’t exist, so I decided to create it!

I look forward to seeing the excitement of other parents of small children in my community about an opportunity that allows for more date nights, running quick errands, or starting up a self-care routine, all while knowing that their child is in a safe, clean, and fun play-based environment! Hello families! My name is Panda Correa, and I am so excited to lead our team as the Director of Empower Kidz Drop-in. I have 8 years of experience in early childhood education and leadership, and my passion is creating a nurturing and inspiring space for young children to play and grow.

I believe in the power of play to empower children, build strong imaginations, and foster a lifelong love of learning. My goal is to ensure that every child who walks through our doors feels safe, happy, and engaged in a supportive environment. I am looking forward to growing our community and being a part of something bigger than traditional childcare.

About my journey

My journey in early childhood education began as an assistant Montessori guide. Along the way, I have been a preschool and Pre-K Teacher, supported middle school Special education students, and have worked in leadership for the past three years. I am dedicated to continuously learning and growing alongside our amazing team.

My family and hobbies

Outside my work at Empower Kidz, I am a wife to a wonderful man named Joshua, and we have two dogs and a cat. I am very family-oriented and spend as much time as possible with my siblings, niece, and nephew. I enjoy hiking with my family, spending time exploring Austin, great food, and opportunities to learn something new.
