Easy Registration for Flexible Child Care

At Empower Kidz Drop-In, we take the safety and well-being of your child seriously. Before your child can begin enjoying our engaging, flexible drop-in child care services, we require the completion of the registration process. Below is a comprehensive guide on how to get your child registered and ready for their first visit.

Step 1: Familiarize Yourself with the Parent Handbook

Before registering, we encourage all new families to review our Parent Handbook. It’s a helpful resource that outlines our policies, operational procedures, and what you can expect from our drop-in services.

Step 2: Gather Required Documents

To complete your child’s registration, please ensure that you have the necessary documents:

Current Health and Immunization Records (or exemption affidavits).

Emergency Contacts and Pickup Authorization (names and contact details of those authorized to pick up your child).

Emergency Transportation Information (if needed).

These documents are mandatory and need to be submitted before your child’s first drop-off. Immunization records or an exemption affidavit are required to complete registration.

Note: If your child is under 5, immunization records must be provided. For children aged 5 and over, you can list the records as being on file at their school.

Step 3: Onboarding Call & Account Activation

(For First-Time Online Registration Only)

Once we receive your completed registration form, one of our team members will reach out for a brief Onboarding Call. During this call, we will:

• Confirm your child’s registration details.

• Answer any questions you may have.

• Walk you through what to expect during your first visit.

Step 4: Secure Your First Reservation

After completing the Onboarding Call and having your account activated, you're all set to reserve your child’s first drop-in session!

• Make a Reservation: Once your account is set up, you can make reservations for drop-in care directly through the Parent Portal. Reservations can be made up to 48 hours in advance, but Empower Kidz members get priority and can book beyond that limit.

Step 5: Complete Online Registration

Once you have gathered the required documents, you can complete your registration via our Parent Portal.

Desktop Browser Required: Please note that the initial registration can only be completed on a desktop web browser.

These documents must be submitted directly through the Parent Portal or emailed to [email protected] 

Note: All health documentation must be kept up to date. Failure to do so may prevent your child from being enrolled.

Medication Policy

We only administer medications in emergency situations, such as EpiPens, rescue inhalers, or prescribed diaper creams. Emergency medications should be discussed directly with staff during check-in and will be stored securely.

• Prescription medications must be clearly labeled with the child’s name, dosage, and other relevant details.

• Any medication should be handed over to a staff member at drop-off and pick-up.

Allergy Emergency Action Plans

If your child has severe food allergies or other medical conditions requiring emergency attention (e.g., EpiPens), we require a signed Emergency Action Plan from your child’s physician on file.

Drop-Off: Upon arrival, parents or authorized individuals will need to sign in using the Parent Portal. Our staff will greet you and safely escort your child to the play area. Grip socks are required for play.

Pick-Up: Please ensure you have a photo ID for verification when picking up your child. Our staff will bring your child to the lobby and confirm check-out.

Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Friday–Saturday: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Note: Saturdays are by reservation only with 24-hour advance booking, starting February 21st

Meals and Snacks

  • Parent-provided meals are preferred as you know your child's dietary needs best. Please bring meals in labeled containers with cooler packs if necessary.

  • Forgotten Meals: At Empower Kidz, we understand that with flexible care, there may be occasional days when a meal is forgotten. To support families in those moments, we offer a limited supply of pre-prepared children’s meals as a last-resort option for an additional cost, based on availability.

At Empower Kidz, meals are sourced from Little Spoon, which are:

  • USDA organic ingredients

  • No artificial preservatives, colors, or flavors

  • Balanced meals with hidden vegetables

  • Designed specifically for children’s nutrition

  • Delivered fresh and prepared for safe reheating

  • These are not fast-food meals ,  they are premium, child-focused nutrition options.

  • Nut-Free Facility: Empower Kidz is a nut-free center. Please do not bring any nut-based products.

  • Nursery Meals: Parents of infants must provide milk, formula, or food, clearly labeled.
